The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course with JMHT will equip the successful graduate to practice as a fully qualified practitioner of hypnotherapy as a psychotherapeutic, stress management and post-traumatic stress management discipline.

The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course is designed for those who wish to become thoroughly familiar with hypnotherapeutic techniques and to acquire the fundamental skills and knowledge to treat clients for stress and psychological ailments. This demanding course will also be invaluable for enhancing your self-understanding and personal insight. As your studies progress, the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course will allow you to deepen your understanding of hypnotherapy and, in particular, the hypno-analytic process in order to equip you to handle even the most distressing instances of human suffering with confidence and certainty of professional success when aspiring to full-time practice.

Course attendance will be for 10 weekends over the time-span of a 12-month period plus the completion of a number of written and practical assignments, including a case-study portfolio, which must be submitted to JMHT within a further 12-month period. An attendance record of, at least, 90% at seminars will be expected, although absence in exceptional circumstances will be considered sympathetically and accommodated accordingly.

The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course will consist of a series of seminars during which time you will have ample opportunity both to see demonstrations of treatment methodology and to practice your newly-acquired skills adequately. Delegates will also be introduced to numerous case-study examples in order to assist the learning process and to demystify the prospect of working in professional practice. Written and practical course assignments will also be an integral feature of the course in order to enable you to consolidate your learning. Full courses notes and handout material will be supplied to all delegates. The successful graduate of the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course will receive a professional Practising Certificate, as the Diploma in Analytical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (designatory initials DAHP), issued by JMHT which can be displayed in the practitioner’s consulting room. A graduate of the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course will also be entitled to free unlimited telephone supervision for life with Jacquelyne Morison following successful completion of the course.

Trainees who successfully complete the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course will be eligible for membership of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) which is the largest professional association for hypnotherapy practitioners currently acknowledged by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the body initially funded by the Department of Health to regulate the alternative therapy profession. Graduates can, therefore, be assured of acquiring professional recognition and having access to a nationwide referral service for prospective clients.

The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Course has been assessed and validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council whose criteria is demanding and prestigious both for the trainee and for the course provider.
